Social Media Specialist

Role is onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5pm. Starting rate is $45k.

Responsibilities and Duties

The primary responsibility of the Social Media Coordinator and Engagement Specialist is the successful planning and execution of our social media strategy across all platforms and channels. Key objectives are to drive brand awareness, reputation, engagement, preference, and conversions. This individual will play an important role in directly engaging with key target audiences and communities, elevating visibility for all our brands.

• Research audience preferences and discover current trends.

• Create engaging text, image, and video content for social platforms.

• Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new services and industry topics.

• Measure and implement social tactics for growth hacking

• Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.

• Must be a team player able to jump in and help the team as needed.

• Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries.

• Respond to on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.

• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.

• Oversee social media accounts’ layout (feeds).

• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.

• Fluent in all social platforms (not just IG).

Preferred Experience

• Proven work experience in social media

• Expertise in multiple social media platforms

• Knowledge of the 12 steps and recovery.

• Knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)

• Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels

• Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively

• Excellent communication skills

• Multitasking and analytical skills

• Photoshop skills a plus

• Canva a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
