Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

As the Special Services Representative, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all required duties of the department such as, processing any In-Kind distribution requests, ROTH conversions, and fair market values as needed. The representative will also be responsible for making sure accounts with In-Kind assets that are deemed infeasible are distributed timely and properly. In addition, the Special Services Representative will also provide excellent support to customers and check to certify all documents follow all policies and procedures. The Special Services position includes client correspondence by phone and e-mail in order to comply with regulatory requirement.

• Receive & process ROTH Conversions and correspond with clients
• Assist as needed with receiving, reviewing, and processing fair market valuations
• Monitor and distribute expired promissory notes, options, and cashier checks
• Review & process reinstatements
• Review and update client investments and accounts as needed
• Detail account reviews and corrections
• Work with compliance to re-mediate account reviews
• Follow processes and procedures for compliance
• Process all Devalued and Zero valued assets
• Work with Logistics to bring all appropriate legal correspondence within 24 hours to Special Services Manager
• Assist clients with complex and out of the ordinary situations
• Account terminations
• Process In-Kind distributions and draft re-registration documents
• Performs other job-related duties as required

Education & Experience

• An Associate’s degree is preferred

• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of directly job-related experience recommended

Skills & Qualifications

• Time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize
• Must be able to work well in a team environment
• Real Estate transaction experience
• Closing specialist experience
• Customer service experience
• Some legal knowledge
• Data entry experience
• IRA knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A background in Real Estate is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
