The Shopper Marketing Specialist, Small Format Super Regional defines and executes Red Bull's Shopper Marketing programming in the Small Format channel Super Regional customers (including Maverick, Chevron & Kum & Go). You will develop and implement on-Brand Shopper Marketing projects that; meet shopper's needs while delivering on both brand and customer priorities, reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Shopper Marketing SF. Shopper Marketing Specialist will develop programs that range from ready-to-use channel plans to custom retailer-driven shopper activations, each in a way that aligns brand and retailer goals and uniquely differentiates Red Bull with retailers and shoppers.

We ask that you have project control skills to bring Brand-driven assets, goals, concepts, and priorities to life in-market, including; sales tools, creation of design and messaging, and definition of targets and look of success. You will be responsible for quality and execution. You will be the main Shopper Marketing representative at top Super Regional internal and customer meetings and responsible for deploying high value, custom programs.

Simply put, you will set Red Bull up to win in Small Format Super Regional Retail customers by expanding Brand impact and generating revenue driving solutions to retail challenges.

The goals will be to develop the following in the Small Format Super Regional Customers:
  • Red Bull Shopper Marketing activations & programs
  • Custom Super Regional Small Format Shopper Marketing programming
  • On-Brand, industry-leading Shopper Marketing programs
  • Creative Concepts & Messaging for shoppers at retail points of purchase
  • Communication Tools/Engagement for retail partners and buyers
  • Post-program analysis

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • BUILD THE BRAND AT RETAIL

    Development of Shopper Marketing programming; generic, retailer, and Red Bull voiced

    Consolidate the Shopper Marketing Programming Calendar for Super Regional Small Format customers

    Brief internal and external media teams and agencies and develop all program creative observing Red Bull brand standards

    Translate Brand assets and plans into winning Shopper Marketing programs

    Design creative and impactful messaging relevant to Small Format Retail landscape

    Coordinate with POS team for in-store visibility/POS item delivery

    Seek out inputs and support from team members in guaranteeing that consumers perceive Red Bull as a prevalent, relevant, premium Product & Brand at Small Format Retail

  • MAXIMIZE THE REACH AND PURCHASE POTENTIAL OF RETAIL PROGRAMS

    Creation and deployment of sales tools to team responsible for execution

    Ensure understanding of brand standards and clear guidelines for accomplishing Small Format Super Regional Shopper Marketing programs

    Ensure seamless understanding of important company partners and consistency of messaging across all projects

    Intimately familiar with customer's Shopper Marketing capabilities and vendor partners best equipped to achieve joint goals

    Deliver Small Format Super Regional customer channel and retailer specific programming that creates shopper purchase conversion

  • ENSURE A RETURN ON INVESTMENTS OF RESOURCES AND EFFORTS

    Establish tangible and quantifiable targets to lead and measure performance

    Identify business case and develop rationale to inform programming decisions

    Assume responsibility for budget management of Small Format Super Regional Shopper Marketing Programing

    Analyze performance to deliver applicable conclusions within the multi-pronged measurement approach

  • CREATE RETAIL PROGRAMS THAT DIFFERENTIATE RED BULL WITH SHOPPER AND RETAILER VS COMPETITION

    Develop custom solutions for Super Regional Small Format shopper insights and opportunities

    Lead custom program development for Super Regional Small Format Retailers

    Deliver full suite of programming; from ready-to-use and scalable to breakthrough and creative

    Manage creation of Shopper Marketing program assets: concept development, POS messaging, selling materials

    Identify trends and opportunities to shape the future of Small Format Shopper Marketing

  • ENSURE GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PLANS, AND QUALITY EXECUTION

    Share best practices with the US teams and international teams

    Foster relationships with all company partners to foster a culture of mutual accountability

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:
  • 2+ years of experience in CPG environment, within Sales, Brand or Shopper Marketing
  • Field experience
  • Project management, solution orientation and collaboration skills
  • Experience improving projects to maximize success
  • Lead insights into action
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or experience in lieu of degree
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 20-30%
