What you are good at
As an Alternative Investment Custody Specialist, you will leverage your passion and enthusiasm to learn in providing the highest quality support to our internal and external business partners. Initially, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of registration updates on Alternative Investment securities held by our clients. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end processing of registration updates for Alternative Investment securities. As you grow your experience and mastery additional opportunities within the team and across the broader organization will be available. Individuals will be team-oriented, self-motivated and goal driven, able to multi-task, realize the importance of follow through, and have great time management skills.
- ACAT and Non-ACAT transfer experience (preferred)
- Reconciliation of breaks (preferred)
- Processing Journal requests (preferred)
- Providing resolution steps for Alternative Investment transfers that are not in good order
- High productivity and ability to research complex issues
- Results Orientation- Focus on setting challenging goals and meeting or exceeding them.
- Flexibility- Openness to new procedures and technology. Looks for opportunities to provide critical support during high volume seasons
- Initiative- Identifying what needs to be done and doing it before being asked
- Fostering Teamwork- Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team and success in getting groups to learn to work together
- Adaptability- Ability to function effectively when under pressure and maintain self-control in the face of difficult situations or stress
What you have
Capacity and passion to learn- Ability to maintain a positive attitude during times of heavy volume and/or change
- Complex problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain accuracy while processing large volumes of work under time constraints
- Strong analytical, research, data entry and prioritization skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to work with internal and external business partners
- Good communication skills
- Detailed orientated
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and Word
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 + years of brokerage experience or operational processing experience
