Immediately Hiring a Staff Accountant responsible for analyzing and accurately recording corporate accruals and reclassification journal entries in accordance with GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze certain line items on the P&L and balance sheet in comparison to forecast
• Prepare General Ledger Account Reconciliations
• Assist in quarterly/annual SOX walk-through, testing and updating business process narratives for AP related areas.
• Assist with monthly forecast of certain P&L line items as assigned by the Manager
• Assists with preparation of footnotes and other supplemental information during the quarter end and year end reporting.
• Assist with contract review and documentation of the accounting impact in accordance with GAAP
• Perform other ad hoc projects as requested by management

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
• 2-5 years’ experience
• CPA Preferred
• Public accounting experience a plus

Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel formulas and functionality
