Position Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Controller - Rental Operations, assists with Rental Fleet activities from inception to Sale, together with active participation in the month-end close process reconciling accounts.

Essential Functions of the Job

Individual ERP and rental software system duties to include:

• Rental Fleet additions, transfers, and sales
• Prepare and reconcile rental specific reports
• Manage weekly cycle count process for rental locations
• Verify data integrity between ERP and rental software
• Co-ordinate new vendor and customer setup

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Rental Fleet spreadsheet (additions, transfers, and sales)
• Prepare various Rental Fleet tax reports
• Participate in the month-end close process, prepare journal entries, and reconcile general ledger accounts, as it relates to the rental division
• Review Invoices for AR and AP
• Assist in the review of monthly rental financial statement records to ensure accuracy of information
• Provide advice to company personnel to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, regarding accounting-related matters
• Assist with departmental questions regarding accounts and budgets
• Assist with audit preparation, budget preparation, improvements to accounting system and questions from affiliates

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting
• Manufacturing environment experience a plus
• CPA and/or Public Accounting experience a plus
