Staff Development/ Infection Control Registered Nurse
Job description
Cypress Garden Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently accepting applications for an experienced Staff Development / Infection Prevention Nurse to track and monitor infections in the facility and educate staff regarding infection control policies and procedures.
Salary: $68,000-$71,000 annually

Staff Development / Infection Control DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interprets and implements established facility policies, procedures and regulations
- Observes and teaches the facility infection control policies and procedures
- Demonstrates consistent ability to identify issues
- Participates in and contributes meaningful information in all meetings relating to resident care and QA/QI in the facility.
- Maintains all records and data in a neat, organized manner for prompt retrieval.
- Acts as a liaison with the local public health department in reporting infectious disease/infections as defined in the Infection Control Manual.
Staff Development / Infection Control QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid RN license in the State of New York
- Infection Prevention Certification
- COVID Vaccination
