Job description

Our Lake Tahoe based Camp Explore youth program is hiring summer camp staff! Employment runs from June 26th - August 4th with 4th of July and weekends off. With competitive pay, the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children through outdoor recreation, and the chance to enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevadas, Camp Explore is where you want to be this summer! Employment opportunities include Camp Counselors, Camp Cook, and Backpacking Guides. Camp Explore is a program ran through Tahoe Family Solutions, a Tahoe-based, non-profit Family Resource Center.

NOTE: Camp Explore does not currently offer camp staff weekend housing.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,100.00 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
All Camp Explore Staff are required to follow Camp Explore Covid Precautions. Strongly recommend that candidates be vaccinated against Covid prior to Camp program start date, though not mandatory.

License/Certification:

  • First Aid/CPR Certification (Required)
  • Wilderness First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • Wilderness First Responder Certification (WFR) (Preferred)
