Come join our team! Carefree Practice Services is currently looking for a Tax accountant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a successful Dental Organization.
Job Duties include but at not limited to:

• Prepare tax returns, payments, reports and maintain tax database.
• Review various financial statements to address tax compliance and saving recommendations
• Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
• Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profits
• Make sure all clients comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
• Accurately prepare quarterly and annual reports
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices and filings
• Keep up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends by participating in educational opportunities, participating in professional organizations, keeping up with professional networks and reading professional publications

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field
• CPA preferred but not required
• 1-4 years’ experience as a tax accountant or similar role
• Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
