Job description

Duties:

• To provide therapy by a fully licensed or provisional therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or Psychologist) to meet the clinically significant behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns that have been identified as treatment needs of the beneficiary. Services are provided during scheduled sessions within the home or an office setting. It can be provided to individuals and families. It can include psychotherapy, other specialized therapies, and collateral work.

Qualifications:

• Candidate should be a licensed, independent counselor, marriage and family therapist, or social worker in the state of South Carolina. Must have an independent license in the state of South Carolina to be considered.

Responsibilities of a Mental Health Licensed/Provisional Professional:

• Provide high quality clinical comprehensive assessments and treatment services to children, adults and families in home-based or outreach programs
• Ensure compliance and to maintain standards of care stipulated by Envision Healthcare Services (EHS) policies and procedures, Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations and other applicable regulations
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required and to regularly meet with his/her supervisor in accordance with EHS policies and to carry out supervisory directives to ensure quality and efficient practice
• Perform all professional and administrative functions as required to provide appropriate services to clients including adequate, complete, and timely documentation of client record materials, billing, reports, etc.
• Oversee the development and implementation of beneficiary’s IPOCs.
• Provide support counseling and crisis intervention consistent with program objectives, goals and philosophy.
