JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Position: Tooling Technician
• Location: Chatham, NY
• Pay: Earn up to $30.14/hour
• +3rd shift Differential pay of $0.50
• Shift: Swing shift- alternates one week, 7am-3pm and the next week 3pm-11pm & 3rd shift- 11pm-7am
• Earn up to $2,500 Sign on Bonus

This position reports to the Mold Maintenance Supervisor. This is an hourly position. Shift hours will be 7am-3pm during training period and either second or third shift once training is completed. Wage commensurate with experience. Rotation for weekend on-call. Overtime required as scheduled.

Day to day responsibilities:

• § Responsible for understanding and following all applicable Safety and Housekeeping procedures for position and assist in developing procedures as required
• § Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks as documented in IQMS module and assist in documentation of task completion and new task development
• § Follow priorities with regards to daily mold setup requirements and mold repair
• § Assist in documentation of mold assembly and set up procedures
• § Assist Production personnel with in-machine insert changes
• § Work with outside Machine shops in coordination of repair work as needed

Requirements/Experience:

• · Minimum two years machine shop/mold maintenance experience is required w/High School Degree or equivalent.
• · Minimum two years machine shop/mold maintenance experience is required w/High School Degree or equivalent.
• · Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of metrology (and related equipment)
• · Working knowledge of Windows based PC programs
• · Must receive passing score on Work Keys Mathematics and Mechanical Aptitude tests to be considered.
