Get to know the business
Our Chief Investment Officer (CIO) team is responsible for the overall asset allocation and portfolio management of General Account assets supporting Corebridge’s policyholder liabilities across various lines of business. In addition to managing the overall portfolio, the CIO team works with the core Life and Retirement business teams to develop the investment strategy to support their new business growth objectives. The CIO team is also responsible for articulating the overall investment strategy and risk positioning to key stakeholders such as BoD, regulators, and rating agencies.
About the role
The CIO team is seeking a Vice President to lead asset liability management (ALM) initiatives across the overall Investments portfolio and to develop, lead and implement investment strategies to support new business pricing approaches across core life and retirement business’ product lines. In this role, you will provide analytical support to various functions performed by the CIO team, including but not limited to:
- Overseeing development and production of an investment strategies for new business pricing products
- Oversee the weekly production and maintenance of Investment Matrix including the oversight and management of risk, capital and market inputs
- Evaluate asset-liability matching across various product lines and develop optimization strategies in coordination with various Actuarial and Finance functions
- Drive process improvements and make current processes more scalable
This role requires someone who can oversee highly analytical work and who is also comfortable stepping in to conduct analysis themselves as required. Being able to manage multiple projects under time pressure is expected. The successful candidate will need to connect the asset management group with the core life and retirement business in order to product outcomes that drive revenue and P&L growth for the company.

What we are looking for
- Microsoft: Excel, PowerPoint, Power Pivot/BI. Proficiency in MatLab and/or Python a plus
- 5+ years of industry experience in either portfolio construction, asset allocation, finance, actuarial or chief investment office roles.
- CFA, or other Actuarial, Risk, Finance credentials a plus.
