Education required: High School diploma or GED Experience: Production work preferred but not required Preferred Skills/Qualifications: 1. Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills 2. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools 3. Sound decision making skills 4. Good math, reading, writing skills 5. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude 6. Strong trouble shooting skills 7. Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual, and audio attention 8. Ability to work well in a team environment Skills/Competencies: 1. Basic computer skills 2. Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes in order to take appropriate action. 3. Vision: Near acuity and accommodation for reading information to perform job tasks. 4. Requires constant alertness to surroundings and product quality with attention to detail. Physical Requirements: 1. Show ability to drive a motorized vehicle. 2. Need a valid driver’s license. 3. Exert up to 50 to 150 pounds of force occasionally. 4. Exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently. Assessment: Employee must pass Pre-employment screening

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE: • Report directly to Warehouse Manager • Work closely with Maintenance to resolve issues with the equipment WORKING CONDITIONS: The employee may be subject to: • High noise levels from operating machines and equipment. • Physical hazards from operating machines and moving reels. 1. Work in areas where safety equipment will be required (steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection) 2. Standing is required for extended periods of time. Walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, turning, twisting, squatting, and lifting is performed on a regular basis 3. Requires high degree of manual dexterity, which could be performed under restrictive conditions 4. Requires flexible hours and short notice for overtime. The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
