About The Position:
We are a diversified Real Estate Investment, Redevelopment, and Management firm seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist. The responsibility will be to oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, delivering, storing, and issuing of supplies and inventory. Maintain receiving and inventory control records; serve as a tech over one or more assigned warehouse functions. The Warehouse Technician must have the ability to make judgment calls based on equipment, product, and customer needs. Additionally, this role is the last quality checkpoint before the product reaches the internal customers. Some tools and machines are computerized, requiring technical knowledge to use.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the shipping, receiving, storing, delivering, and issuing of supplies, materials, products.
- Receive, unload, and inspect shipments for damage and conformity to purchase order specifications and packing slips; notify Supervisors regarding shortages, damaged goods, or other discrepancies; complete receiving, discrepancy, and follow-up reports.
- Serve as a tech over an assigned warehouse function; prioritize work assignments.
- Deliver supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure condition.
- Recommend and, upon approval, implement proper storage, inventory, and warehousing procedures and improvements in warehouse efficiency and maximum space utilization.
- Adhere to specified work schedules and instructions. Scheduled overtime may be required.
- Load, unload, and sort packages in a fast-paced environment.
- Identify any safety concerns or hazards and report them.
- Provide labor support to other areas as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- One or more years of experience in the warehouse process.
- Understanding of inventory management and warehouse functions.
- WMS and Barcode Scanner experience preferred.
- Track record of “can-do” attitude.
- Understands Bill of Materials & Kitting materials per a Work Order System.
- Adaptable and dependable with the ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with others.
- Helpful and professional attitude and appearance.
- Strong Proficiency in Excel and Computer Savvy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently
- Dexterity for frequent and regular use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Visual acuity to prepare or inspect documents, products, and/or operate machinery
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Valid Drivers License

Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
