Western Paper Distributors is currently seeking an experienced individual for a full-time Warehouse Manager position at our Albuquerque location. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse is compliant with the company's policies and vision. Overseeing operations, receiving, storage, replenishment, delivery and maintenance while setting up layout to ensure efficient space utilization throughout the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 10 associates consisting of Drivers and Warehouse staff.

Example Responsibilities Include:

• Opening and closing of the warehouse and maintaining the equipment and building
• Maintaining trucks and ensuring DOT compliance
• Daily routing
• Daily warehouse operations and leading staff from the front lines hands on
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Hire, train, coach, and mentor employees
• Special projects assigned by management

We're looking for exceptional people with the following skills:

• 5 years of proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Safety Management, and inventory control skills
• Excellent communication skills
