Southwest Steel Employment Opportunity: Architectural Shop
Welder/Fabricator Needed
Minimum 3 to 5 Years’ experience in completing Quality work involving TIG welding Stainless Steel, Aluminum.
Minimum 3 to 5 Years’ experience Dual shield welding of Stainless Steel.
Must be able to read and understand fabrication drawings and complete a pre-employment drawing test.
Pre-employment weld test administered for welder applicants
Must be able to read a Tape measure.
Basic Hand Tool required:
- Hammer
- Crescent Wrench
- Center punch
- Combination Square
Understanding Quality assurance and material finishes is a Plus Examples: #4 Longitudinal, #4 Circumferential, and Mirror #8 polish.
Able to work with a wide range of tools and equipment operations is also a plus. Please inquire for a list of equipment.
Able to identify weld symbols.
Looking for positive and motivated individuals to work 40+ hours a week.
