Under the supervision of the Bus Driver, possess the ability and willingness to assist in various areas as assigned. Primary duties will be to ensure the health and safety of the children on the bus. Qualifications: The minimum requirement is that the individual be 18 years of age. This is an entry-level position requiring no previous education or experience. HS/GED is highly preferred. Current and former Early Head Start and Head Start parents will receive preference for employment vacancies for which they are qualified. CDA or AA in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s permit required. Must be able to work with children with special needs and children with limited or no English. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Physical requirements include extended periods of walking, standing, kneeling, and crouching; the ability to lift and move 50 pounds; Position: 40 hour a week; Benefits: Health Insurance, Dental/Vision Insurance, Accident & Critical Illness Plan, PTO and Holiday Pay; Pay wage range: $12.27-$16.12. This position is eligible to receive a sign in bonus of $1,000 after 60 days of employment.
