About this Position:


The MarTech unit plays a vital role in leading the IT function to drive the company's digital transformation and has led the implementation of leading-edge technology solutions to improve the efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness of Honda's operations. The team is responsible for managing a single view of the customer on the Customer Data Platform, gaining customer insight through Voice of Customer and Net Promotor Score programs, activating marketing campaigns through multichannel communication using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, and supporting website analytics using the Adobe platform.


A Business and System Analyst Lead specializes in performing research and analysis to devise strategies for optimal business operations and services, ensuring efficiency and increased productivity. The role is to lead and manage the team to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the delivery needs of the business. This includes leading interviewing stakeholders, gathering, and compiling business requirements to understand the technology solutions and data that they need. The lead will also mentor and coach the team to apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help make good decisions. Be proactive about working with the enterprise, cross-functional teams, and business teams to look for opportunities to optimize the operation and delivery.


The lead position will support creating and building teamwork, result-oriented, innovative, and strategic thinking. Help CX organization to make better decisions and influence business strategy based on the various customer, sales, service, and telematics data and actionable insights while collaborating with the most brilliant talents in the automotive industry to build products and services


Responsibilities include:


  • Provide coaching, mentoring, goal setting, and overall performance management
  • A highly methodical and systematic approach to the preparation of all documents
  • Acquire business knowledge across Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales, Service, and Telematics and maintain appropriate knowledge of various business units
  • Develop project plans for business and ensure appropriate implementation of plans
  • Proficiency in data analysis with SQL and Python
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and prepare designs for functional specifications
  • Analyze functional requirements and collect all requirements and document processes
  • Establish business processes, analyze the existing processes, and recommend improvements
  • Hands-on experience writing use case documentation or requirements stories
  • Monitor the lifecycle of a project and evaluate customer reviews for business process
  • Develop new process and provide support to various migration data process
  • Develop training program and associate documents
  • Develop professional relationship with vendors and clients
  • Structure and organize various enterprise data for specific analytics applications.
  • Provide data expertise to the CX organization
  • Partner with enterprise to implement enterprise data strategy


Who we are seeking:


Required Work Experience:


  • 3-5 years experience in business and system analysis
  • 3-5 years experience in data analytics

3+ years in scripting (ex. SQL, Python)


Required Education:


  • BS in a Technical discipline such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering

Desired skills:


  • Skilled in the use of analytic tools for discerning patterns in data. Also, able to use one or more tools for operating on large data sets, such as Python and SQL
  • Experience with Dataiku and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience Agile methodologies
  • Experience in data analysis, wrangling, validation, and data cleansing.

Pay will be based on several variables that include, but are not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, etc.
