General position summary:
The Compensation Consultant I provides basic cost data and assignment offer letters in support of the clients’ assignment approval process. Facilitates the collection of global compensation data from local sources and delivers global compensation reporting data to international HR and payroll client contacts for compliance purposes. Focuses on timely and accurate service delivery, collaborating with the client’s Global Tax Provider and Payroll contacts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares comprehensive international assignment cost projections and Letters of Assignment for Client HR
- Responsible for initial preparation of assignment allowance instructions to client’s international payroll contacts
- Responsible for timely request and collection of monthly compensation data, initial cursory audit review for completeness, reasonableness and accuracy; importing data into L360 Global Compensation Accumulator module adhering to client KPI; updating internal trackers for client deliverables deadlines are met
- Support and assisting in the reconciliation of global compensation details collected to client payroll details
- Responsible for periodic review and communication of Global Compensation data imports to internal Lexicon payroll and expense admin teams for purposes of feeding client payroll (for tax gross-up calculations)
- Works with international market and compensation data providers to calculate allowance adjustments periodically and prepare updated Compensation Worksheets
- Responsible for initial review of global compensation data to identify gaps in country-specific data integrity and follow-up with client for resolution
- Support Account Manager with answering client questions regarding compensation deliverables and Lexicon best practices; escalates exceptions or other key items that are critical in nature to the client relationship
- Coordinates communication between corporate client, their tax department or tax provider and transferee on tax-related issues and in support of client’s tax compliance objectives
- Supports and coordinates year-end compensation review with corporate client, Lexicon’s Payroll/Expense Administration departments and tax provider
- Supports data integrity goals by monitoring key relocation related information relating to assignee, authorized services, status, billable fees, etc., into system
- Participates, as requested, in periodic meetings with client for implementation, process refinement and problem resolution
- Demonstrates a willingness to improve job-related skills, responding to direction and constructive feedback in a positive and professional manner
- Shows flexibility and creativity in completing work assignments
- Develops and maintains a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, Clients and service partners
- Accepts additional job assignments and participates in project work as requested
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual and Lexicon’s Policy and Procedures manual

Education & Experience:
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Accounting/Finance or Payroll experience preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in international role within corporate HR, relocation management company, mobility consulting company or equivalent experience preferred
TRAVEL:
- Less than 10% required.
