Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative duties in the agency are centered on customer service and internal sales.
Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Service Work:
Check E-Mail
Check voicemail
Check production
Check ANS Tickets & Life Policy Viewer for updates
Make follow up calls on previous service work
Make follow up calls on company underwriting requests
Make changes for clients on their policies and process the paperwork associated with those changes
Follow up with client to let them know everything is complete
Field and answer all billing questions. This should be followed up with a note to the insured saying Thank you
Quote and write new business for existing clients and look for Cross Sell Opportunities
Track and process all applications including follow up for additional information
Claim Intake & follow up
Internal Program Management:
Check for out of force policies on the 10th & 20th and then take appropriate action
Transfer Client Program
Coordinate Internal Marketing Plan
Coordinate key Indicators, clean up with agent
Coordinate Rate Increase Program
Coordinate Customer Inquiry Program
Contribute to Social Media Program
*And any other duties as assigned by Agent/Owner*
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Typical qualifications would be: a high school degree and or equivalent, 2 year college degree, and fully licensed in property, casualty, Life, and Health insurance by the State of Minnesota, and two years continuous experience in professional office setting. The person must be highly motivated and have good organizational skills. The person must have excellent customer service skills, competent with computers, and make a commitment to grow with the agency. A professional attitude is a must.
Office Hours: The Customer Service Representative is required to work 40 hours a week. The hours are 8:00 to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.
