• Title: Desktop Technician
• Location: Rancho Mirage, CA

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Job Description:

• Level II technicians are primarily responsible for addressing and resolving end user issues as they relate to desktop hardware and software.
• This position has responsibilities that include basic and advanced PC and client application installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• A thorough knowledge of PC operating systems is essential to the successful completion of many duties assigned to Desktop Technicians.
• TCP/IP and other networking skills are also required. Level II technicians will also support and service printers.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and follow-up skills are required on a daily basis in this position.
• Level II technicians are also expected to coach less experienced technicians regarding the support of the computing.

Required:

• Required: High school diploma/GED Desired: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science or MSCD equivalent, CCNA, MSCE, CCNP.
• Required: 6+ years as Enterprise Desktop Technician
• Preferred: 6 years supporting Windows hardware/software and printers in a health care environment
• Required: Valid CA driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred: MC ITP, MC TS, A+, Network +, Security + or equivalent

• Desktop Technician: 6 years (Preferred)
• Windows: 5 years (Preferred)
• Computer hardware: 5 years (Preferred)
• software: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
