The Director of P&A (Parts and Accessories) Product and Operations ensures the on-time and in-full delivery of a P&A product line that exceeds customer expectations while providing the means to meet the businesses financial targets. They must ensure the product roadmap matches with the market needs for both aftermarket sales and original equipment specification. Further coordinating across Cannondale's global regions to capitalize on introduction timing and various consolidation benefits.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Establish business strategy to achieve sales, net margin, and SKU productivity for the assigned categories with the leaders of Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Sourcing
  • Manage and adjust product portfolio to match regional and dealer needs.
  • Ensures on-time delivery of quality product in quantities that meet the sales organization's needs.
  • Work with demand planning and sales to deliver accurate regional forecasts
  • Partner with internal e-commerce team to implement global direct sales strategy for P&A product line
  • Present product vision, features, and functionality to sales and externally to retailers
  • Work with Marketing to develop plans that support the P&A category brand and growth goals.
  • Develop and implement process and logistical strategies to improve category margin
  • Review and share accountability for category margin
  • Balance resource allocation to meet P&A goals and OE (original equipment) development support.
  • Budgetary management
  • Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
  • Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in sporting goods industry
  • Knowledge of trends, market drivers, and customers in the cycling industry
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal and listening
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent financial analysis and business math skills
  • Demonstrated success in growing business
  • Excellent Excel and other Microsoft Office skills
