How You Will Make an Impact?

The Business Analyst for our Materials and Operations groups will provide vision, leadership and drive the processes changes within the supply chain and manufacturing processes. Being the functional leader in analysis, you will participate in strategy planning activities, requirement development, design, documentation, and testing for all financial system enhancements and changes within J.D. Edwards.

The Nuts and Bolts
  • Provide vision, leadership and drive the processes changes within the supply chain and manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in strategy planning activities, and be the functional leader in the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, and testing for all financial system enhancements and changes.
  • Work closely with the business unit’s functional representatives in the development of simplified/lean process improvements or operating practices which best utilize the systems to improve quality; increase productivity; and supports business goals.
  • Develop peer, cross-functional & cross-business unit relationships to maximize best practice sharing & team effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the timely completion of project tasks and activities within functional area by directing activities of others as well as maintaining individual project responsibilities.
  • Responsible for the development of the functional training and coordinating the ongoing functional support, including, but not limited to the development of business unit “super users”
  • Act as the functional change agent by creating a sense of purpose to meet the goals of the business & leading by example.
  • Own issues from start to finish / risk identification, escalation, resolution and communication with the project team and functional management including BU functional leaders.
  • Assure conformance to system architecture, methods, standards & practices & promote their creation.
  • Support all critical cross-functional business processes, such as Item Attribution, WOPR, CSM, Change Orders, Labor tracking, inventory management, chassis management etc.
Required Credentials
  • Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging others across multiple teams.
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time to other domestic locations
  • JDE EnterpriseOne experience
Preferred Credentials
  • 3+ years of J.D. Edwards experience
You Must Be Able to
  • Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required. Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
