Zotec Partners, a leading high-tech healthcare company providing complete physician revenue cycle management through innovative solutions, is looking for an Mirth Engineer who embodies our core culture of: passion, persistence, people, predictability and perspective.
As an Mirth Engineer, you will be a key contributor within the Interoperability Department by managing and prioritizing daily Mirth Connect tasks.
What will you do:
- Automate manual processes
- Work cross-functionally to configure HL7 connections
- Troubleshoot connection issues and other complications
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal Zotec employees as well as Zotec clients
- Analyze and manipulate data by writing and running SQL queries
- Analyze logs to identify and prevent potential issues from occurring
- Utilize Javascript/SQL knowledge to write custom processes and modify data files
- Develop custom interfaces and extracts from SQL Data
- Work cross functionally with File Management to ensure successful loading of HL7/preprocessed data.
- Create custom Reporting methods using Mirth Connect.
- Maintain Mirth Connect system by addressing failures/errors, and upgrades, in addition to allocating system resources.
- Complete all other duties as assigned
What will you bring to Zotec:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics or related field required.
- 5-7 Years’ experience in a healthcare integration experience.
- Interface Implementation experience required.
- Mirth Connect experience strongly desired.
- Experience managing Mirth Connect in a high volume environment preferred.
- Javascript experience
- Experience utilizing SQL, including writing and running queries, to analyze data
- Knowledge and understanding of file structure for analysis (HL7, EDI x12, Image formats, Excel, OCR)
- Eager and willing to learn internal applications
- Attentive to detail
- Excellent written communications and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change
- Able to work in a team environment
- Professionally exercises discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day work
