We invite you to join our Physicians Resources team as a Coordinator.
As a Physicians Resource Coordinator, you will provide support and assist with all activities related to Physician Resources, physician and physician extender planning, recruiting, credentialing, orientation, special projects, and professional standards review.
This is a Full-Time position with a Monday-Friday schedule with normal business hours.
This position may require working occasional weekends and holidays.
This position is mainly remote but may have days as needed to go on site to the office.
This position is located at Scripps Corporate offices in La Jolla.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Advanced level of experience with excel preferred.
- Payroll experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Data analysis experience preferred.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Two years' experience in areas of physician recruitment/staffing, credentialing, human resource/benefits, medical staff office, medical group administrative office.
- Strong organizational focus.
- Knowledge of clinic operations and payroll activities.
- Requires flexibility in dealing with multiple assignments and work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with and gain confidence of physicians and other practitioners.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong writing skills needed to help develop letters, reports, etc.
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
- Solid intermediate or higher computer skill level including the creation of spreadsheets, database information input and maintenance.
- Established proficiency with multiple software programs which may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
