Job description
WE Transport/Towne Bus, a premier provider of student transportation is immediately hiring school bus drivers in our Mount Kisco/Bedford, NY location.
Job Summary
- Starting salary $18.92 to $25.85 per hour with benefits
- Minimum of 30 hours weekly guarantee
- $3000.00 Sign-on-Bonus for any hired fully licensed NY CDL Driver who has an A, B or & S endorsements
- Drive school bus on a scheduled route in a safe and timely manner
- Ensure the safety of passengers while vehicle in transit
- Other duties as assigned, i.e. pre & post-trip, report all incidents to safety personnel, monitor cleanliness of bus, respond to inquires from passengers, parents and school personnel
- FREE training to obtain a NYS CDL
Job Requirements
- Drivers must be at least 21 with a NYS license with valid 1-year driving experience
- Immediately hiring NYS CDL A or B with P & S endorsements REQUIRED for BIG BUS with 3 years valid experience preferably with a big bus
- Immediately hiring NYS CDL C with P & S REQUIRED for vans.
- NYS D with BPS permit REQUIRED to train for CDL
- NYS D license with one year of valid experience accepted to be interviewed.
School Big Bus Drivers must pass a drug test and extensive background check.
