Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated professional to join as a Senior Manager, Contracts to oversee our Engineered Items contracts. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter, experienced in contract negotiations with the ability to successfully implement legal strategy in support of our business interests. We value the ability to understand the complex intellectual property issues surrounding Engineered Items contracts, influence stakeholders, and improve department processes.

The position is ideally working in a Hybrid capacity. Open to remote work with travel as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the drafting, generation, interpretation and management of global and highly complex proposals and contract documents, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives
• Advises management and organization of contractual rights and obligations to protect and mitigate the organization's legal and business interests
• Manages multiple medium- to large-sized projects
• Represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters
• Provides legal advice on warranty and contract administration
• Prepares legal documentation for legal and contract negotiations and relationships
• Maintains historical contract database and records

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a University Degree and typically a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
• Experience with contract drafting and negotiations
• Experience developing negotiation strategies and negotiations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree or paralegal certificate
• Knowledge of engineered items or an engineering background

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
