THAAD Data Analyst


Overview

SimTech, Inc., a 2021 and 2020 Best Places to Work Winner, has an immediate need for a THAAD I2RSS Data Analyst, to join our growing, diverse and dynamic team in Huntsville, AL.


Responsibilities

Support THAAD analysis of flight test and I2RSS, run data using various analysis tools.


Review code and learn to operate the facility on an as needed basis.


The THAAD I2RSS Analyst will be required to learn individual component specifics as required to conduct tests, such as component initialization parameters and specific test operating procedures.


Perform data collection and post-test processing of data.


Other responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications, Education Requirements and Desired Skillsets

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or computer science from an accredited institution.


Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related technical experience.


Demonstrated experience with C and C++ required.


Knowledge of the THAAD Missile System or missile defense systems is a plus.


Must be a self-starter, team player willing to work with users, integrators, analysts and other systems administrators in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Must be detail-oriented and mission-focused.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills


U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance required.


Physical Description

Employees in these positions will function in a general office/cubicle setting environment, laboratory/testing setting using standard office equipment and various electronic testing equipment, including a computer, telephone, printers, video equipment, computer software and testing equipment. Will interact in a general office setting environment with various personnel; participate in meetings and contribute to team success; deliver timely results and produce reports; receive and communicate information; may include telework. May function in a laboratory/testing environment using electronic testing equipment, computer software and complex systems. May move and test equipment of various weights. Laboratory environment may require use of protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to safety glasses and protective hearing and footwear. May be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization due to business demands; travel occasionally for assigned work.
